A fascinating piece of footage. Would love to know where you discovered it. Oddly enough just a couple of weeks ago I was watching the local news and these sirens were only just coming to the end of their working life. However for the last 60+ years they had been used for flood warning purposes on the East Anglian coast.The news report coincided with a visit to an air raid shelter which was only rediscovered in the 1980's and has been transformed into a small but very interesting World War 2 museum. I just can't get enough of this stuff. Nice one.
